PT Iron Bird was established in 1993 and launched by Mr Sudjono, Director General of Land Transportation, as a Container and Cargo Haulier Company. Iron Bird and AKA provides container and cargo transportation services with nearly 300 trucks, hundreds of trailers, and dozens of truck heads designed specifically for sea containers, heavy cargo and bulk-cargo haulage. The fleet is in constant prime condition and meets the conditions stipulated in the Ministry of Transportation regulation regarding container haulage.

To ensure the highest quality of services, Iron Bird regularly initiates training programs for its drivers and mechanics, done in collaboration with Volvo, Sweden. Iron Bird’s operational scope includes Jabodetabek as well as East, West, Central Java, and also Sumatra, supported around the clock by a team of mechanics.

Brief History

Established in 1972, Blue Bird has become a leading and biggest national transportation company in Indonesia. In 1991 Blue Bird started it’s Logistics Services with a trucking company named PT. Angkutan Kontenindo Antarmoda and PT. Iron Bird which serves containerized and break bulk cargo transportation. In 2002 PT. Iron Bird Logistic established as a Logistics Company to accommodate customers need and strengthen Blue Bird Group services in logistics nationwide.

While the Malaysian investor is Kontena Nasional Berhad, Malaysia’s dominant haulage company and also the Malaysian government pioneer multimodal – Transport Operator.

A 5.000 square meter building space for Warehousing and Distribution Services was supported by Ritra Logistic which is experienced on handling management logistic and distribution, and have a reputable name as a biggest forwarder in Indonesia and overseas.

PT Ritra Konnas Freight Centre is located in the strategic district of Cakung Cilincing within 5 kilometers radius from Tanjung Priok Port (Jakarta International Container Terminal – JICT) and approximately 500meters from the gate of direct highway access to Cikampek. It has an area of fairly large within 58.000 square meters paved with interlocking blocks.
